Disney+ has confirmed that its upcoming Korean original series Fragmented City will premiere on November 5, bringing together Ji Chang-wook and Do Kyung-soo in an intense clash of vengeance and villainy.
Action Drama of Revenge and Transformation
Written by Oh Sang-ho and directed by Park Shin-woo and Kim Chang-joo, Fragmented City follows the story of Tae-jung (played by Ji Chang-wook), an ordinary man wrongfully imprisoned after being caught up in a heinous crime. Determined to reclaim his life, he embarks on a path of revenge, navigating the shifting emotions of anger, despair, and determination.
Opposite him, Do Kyung-soo takes on the role of Yohan, a chilling villain who manipulates others' lives as if sculpting them at will. The character promises to unveil a ruthless and unprecedented side of the actor, far removed from his previous roles.
Tense Visuals in Teaser Poster
A newly revealed teaser poster captures the essence of their confrontation. Tae-jung lunges forward with a furious punch, his face etched with rage, while Yohan counters with a deranged smile—an image that foreshadows their fierce and unsettling rivalry.
Release Schedule
Ahead of the official premiere, Disney+ will pre-release the first four episodes on November 4. The full series will consist of 12 episodes, with two new episodes released weekly after launch.
With Ji Chang-wook's layered performance and Do Kyung-soo's menacing transformation, Fragmented City is set to deliver a gripping narrative of revenge, survival, and psychological warfare.
