SM Artists Unite for UNICEF Campaign, Donating Their Talent for Children Worldwide
by. ymchoi

SM Entertainment artists have come together to support children affected by war and disaster, joining a global initiative through talent donation.

UNICEF Team Campaign

On September 23, UNICEF Korea announced that Doyoung, Minho, Shotaro, Suho, Xion, Siwon, Irene, Yuri, Jaemin, Jiwoo, and Carmen participated in the UNICEF Team campaign. The initiative, launched in 2018, encourages people to "become one team" for children suffering from conflict, natural disasters, and other crises.

This year's campaign holds special meaning, marking the 10th anniversary of SM's social contribution partnership with UNICEF. Eleven SM artists donated their time and voices to promote the cause.

Special Commemorative Gesture

Supporters who sign up for regular donations through the campaign page will receive a commemorative UNICEF Team "Pink Blood" bracelet, symbolizing the decade-long collaboration between SM and UNICEF.

Jo Mijin, Secretary-General of UNICEF Korea, expressed gratitude: "We thank SM for helping children dream of hope through music and for contributing their talents to this important campaign."

She added, "We ask for continued support for the UNICEF Team campaign, where SM artists have joined forces to stand with children battling the hardships of war and disaster around the world."

With their participation, SM artists once again highlight the role of K-pop stars in driving meaningful global change through music and philanthropy.
