Actor Park Yong-woo revisited his acting journey during a recent TV appearance, offering insights into his new drama and career highlights.
Return to KBS After 21 Years
On September 23, Park appeared on KBS-1TV's Morning Yard (Achim Madang) "Tuesday Guest" segment. He discussed his filmography and upcoming drama Eunsoo's Good Day, which marks his return to KBS after more than two decades since Conditions of Love.
In the new series, Park plays Jang Tae-gu, head of the narcotics investigation team at Gwangnam Police Station. He expressed his excitement, recalling, "Every time I worked on a KBS drama, good things happened. I landed my first lead role, received awards, and the projects always did well."
On-Set Atmosphere and Role Transformation
Park praised the drama's set environment: "It was a happy experience. Even without words, we were able to communicate emotions naturally while acting." During the program, he also reacted to highlight footage, shifting seamlessly from warmth to intensity—showcasing his charisma and strong synchronization with the character.
Acting Journey and Mindset
Park reflected on his path into acting, which began with small sitcom roles before leading to appearances in projects like Jejungwon and the blockbuster film Shiri.
He emphasized his current passion for the craft: "Right now, being on set is the most fun. With the right mindset, I believe every project will bring enjoyable experiences."
