EXO's Chanyeol is set to launch his solo career in Japan next month.
SM Entertainment announced on September 25 that Chanyeol will officially debut in Japan on October 22 with his first mini album Hibi (日々). Ahead of the release, all tracks will be pre-released on September 26 across major music platforms, giving fans an early taste of his original Japanese songs.
First Japanese Mini Album Hibi
The new record centers on the theme of cherishing everyday life. The title track Zuruiyo (ずるいよ) portrays the feeling of endlessly falling for someone even if that love never reaches them. The album also includes tracks such as Kangaete Mitara (考えてみたら), Tokyo Tower, Cherry, and Up To You.
Japan Tour Scheduled
Alongside his Japanese solo debut, Chanyeol will embark on a local tour from October 4 to 27, performing in Aichi, Fukuoka, Osaka, and Kanagawa. The tour highlights his determination to connect directly with Japanese fans through live performances.
Global Momentum
This new chapter follows the success of Chanyeol's second Korean mini album Upside Down, released last month. That album topped the iTunes Top Albums Chart in 26 regions worldwide, reinforcing his growing presence as a solo artist on the global stage.
