NMIXX has revealed a mysterious and enchanting concept ahead of their comeback.
On September 29, the group dropped teaser photos for their first full-length album Blue Valentine, set for release on October 13.
Mysterious Apple Imagery
The photos highlight the members' piercing gazes and close-knit chemistry, with poses that include cheek-to-cheek touches and warm embraces. Scattered red apples and shattered glass pieces add an unsettling edge, while members are seen holding apples embedded with fragments, enhancing the surreal mood.
A striking blue apple inscribed with the phrase "To you, whom I love the most but hate" further deepened curiosity about the album's narrative.
Album Details and Member Participation
Blue Valentine will feature 12 tracks, including the title track of the same name, along with songs such as Reality Hurts, O.O Part 1 (Baila), O.O Part 2 (Superhero), Spinnin' on It, Phoenix, RICO, Game Face, ADORE U, and Shape of Love.
The members also took part in the creative process: Haewon contributed lyrics for PODIUM, while Lily co-wrote Crush on You.
A Significant Return
This marks NMIXX's comeback after about seven months, following the March release of their fourth mini-album Fe304: Forward, which concluded the Fe304 series.
Alongside the album release, NMIXX will hold their first-ever solo concert on November 29–30, showcasing their growth as performers.
Do you want me to also weave in a short cultural note explaining the symbolic meaning of apples in Korean art and storytelling, since that imagery is central to this teaser?
