The late Lee Min of As One will be remembered through her final recording.
Brand New Music revealed on September 29 a teaser for As One's last single, "I'm Only Loving You," via their official YouTube channel.
A Farewell Song with Lasting Emotion
The 26-second teaser shows a lone tree on a mountain peak, with photographs hanging from its branches, evoking memories of the duo's 26-year journey together.
"I'm Only Loving You" features Lee Min's voice, recorded before her sudden passing last month. Known to be one of her most cherished songs, it was delivered with quiet sincerity. During the recording, she explained, "I sang as if speaking rather than showcasing vocal techniques. If you focus on the lingering resonance, you can feel the emotions more deeply."
She added, "As the song builds toward the end, the swelling emotions make it less of a 'farewell song' and more of a love story."
Honoring Her Legacy
Brand New Music announced that part of the single's proceeds will be donated to an animal rights organization that Lee Min had supported during her lifetime, continuing her philanthropic legacy.
Lee Min performed as part of the R&B duo As One with Crystal, leaving behind timeless hits such as "For You Not to Know," "You Have to Be Sorry," and "Want and Resent." She remained active through broadcasts, concerts, and OSTs up until her passing on September 5 at the age of 46.
The final single, "I'm Only Loving You," will be released on September 30 at 6 p.m. across major music platforms.
