TOMORROW X TOGETHER (TXT) has officially launched a new global partnership with UNICEF.
On October 1 (KST), the group attended the TOGETHER FOR TOMORROW signing ceremony at UNICEF headquarters in the U.S. The event was joined by UNICEF Executive Director Catherine Russell, Deputy Executive Director Kitty van der Heijden, and Cho Mi-jin, Secretary-General of the Korean Committee for UNICEF.
Sharing Their Message Through Music
During the ceremony, the members delivered heartfelt speeches. Leader Soobin said, "Over the past six years, we've spoken about growth through our music. We've shared worries, fears, and hopes, and many people told us they found comfort in that. I learned that expressing emotions is a sign of strength."
He added, "Through this campaign with UNICEF, we want to create a space where children and teenagers around the world can freely express their feelings. This partnership is a natural outcome of our musical journey, our beliefs, and our shared values. We're grateful to UNICEF for supporting us."
Recognized by UNICEF Leaders
UNICEF Deputy Executive Director Kitty van der Heijden praised the group, saying, "TOMORROW X TOGETHER's music has been a driving force in promoting mental health for children worldwide." She emphasized that the campaign will have a tangible impact on youth mental well-being and inspire positive influence.
Cho Mi-jin of UNICEF Korea also stated, "TXT's sincere voices will remind children and teens everywhere of the importance of mental health."
Campaign Goals and Commitment
The TOGETHER FOR TOMORROW campaign aims to build a better future by starting with empathy—encouraging understanding without prejudice and supporting young people's mental health. TXT also joined 20 young leaders from UNICEF's global network in deep discussions on diverse topics, earning praise for their thoughtful answers.
Beginning next year, the campaign will roll out globally, with TXT participating in various online and offline initiatives, including fundraising efforts for children in need.
As part of their commitment, TXT and BigHit Music pledged to donate approximately $1.4 million (about 1.97 billion KRW) over the next two years to UNICEF's Global Mental Health Fund. Their agency noted that TXT aims to expand their role by giving hope and courage to children facing emotional challenges.
