SEVENTEEN's special unit S.Coups X Mingyu celebrated their new album success with fans.
On October 5, the duo held their first mini album fan party VIBE ALIVE: Chill Moments at Seoul Women's University Grand Auditorium in Nowon-gu, Seoul.
The event was organized to commemorate the release of their mini album HYPE VIBES, themed around the album's free-spirited energy. The pair filled the stage with live performances and candid talk segments.
They kicked off with the title track 5, 4, 3 (Pretty Woman), radiating playful charm and relaxed confidence. Fans erupted in cheers each time the members reached out for high-fives.
A surprise guest appeared — Seungkwan joined as a special MC for the talk segment. "I could feel how much effort S.Coups and Mingyu poured into this album," he said. "Even after more than 10 years together, their music and quality still surprised me. That's why I volunteered to help with this fan party."
The duo also shared behind-the-scenes stories from their album production. "We couldn't let go of our ambition," said S.Coups. "Even if there's regret later, we wanted to trust ourselves. Every moment of making this album was truly colorful."
They performed For You and Fiesta live, moving into the audience to connect closely with CARATs (their fandom). Fans responded with loud sing-alongs, creating a festival-like atmosphere.
Before wrapping up, S.Coups and Mingyu promised more to come. "Our activities aren't over yet," they said. "Please keep enjoying the new content we've prepared."
Released on September 29, HYPE VIBES topped the Hanteo Daily Album Chart on its release day and also debuted at No.1 on Japan's Oricon Daily Album Ranking.
SEVENTEEN's world tour NEW_ will continue, beginning October 12 (KST) in Tacoma, followed by stops in Los Angeles, Austin, Sunrise, and Washington D.C.
