Xiumin of EXO is returning with a powerful new concept.

On October 10, Xiumin unveiled the "Coming Soon" poster for his upcoming digital single Overdrop via social media, confirming his comeback date as October 20.

A Dark and Explosive Visual Concept

The teaser image captures a shadowy underwater scene with glass shards beginning to crack and float beneath the surface — symbolizing an intense burst of energy about to be unleashed. The concept hints at a deeper, more mature transformation for the artist.

This marks Xiumin's first solo release in about seven months. A representative shared, "Fans will be able to experience Xiumin's deeper musical color and his renewed passion for the stage."

Building Anticipation

Late last month, Xiumin held his fan concert X Times Blank encore shows on September 27 and 28, where he pre-released the new track live, heightening excitement among fans.

Overdrop will be released on October 20 at 6 p.m. KST across major streaming platforms.
