Jang Hae-young, a member of the 1990s boy group FIVE, has passed away after battling cancer. He was 45.
Former member Kim Hyun-soo shared the news on social media on October 10, writing, "When we meet again in heaven, let's sing together once more," expressing his deep sorrow.
Jang reportedly passed away on October 6 after a long fight with cancer. His social media account has since been filled with heartfelt condolence messages from friends and acquaintances mourning his loss.
Jang Hae-young debuted in 1997 as a member of the group KID, before re-debuting in the four-member boy group FIVE, which gained popularity with songs like "Girl" and "Ring."
He later appeared on the JTBC program Two Yoo Project: Sugar Man in 2016, where he shared updates on his life and mentioned that he had been working in the investment field at the time.
