The thrilling hero returns for another ride of justice and revenge

SBS's hit drama Taxi Driver is back for a third season.

The network confirmed that the new Friday–Saturday series Taxi Driver 3 (written by Oh Sang-ho, directed by Kang Bo-seung) will premiere on November 21, signaling the return of the cathartic "hero for the people."

The Rainbow Taxi rides again

SBS unveiled a teaser poster on October 13 featuring the Rainbow Taxi logo and the tagline, "The third ride begins," hinting at the show's signature energy.

The Taxi Driver series follows a taxi driver who takes revenge on behalf of victims failed by the justice system. The drama has captivated viewers with its explosive action, refreshing justice, and sharp social commentary.

Past seasons tackled real-world crimes — from sex exploitation chat rooms and cult scams to nightclub corruption — delivering both thrilling entertainment and a strong moral message. As the story unfolded, the chemistry and dynamics among the Rainbow Taxi crew deepened, adding more layers of fun and emotion.

Star-studded team returns

The original cast reunites once again, including Lee Je-hoon as Kim Do-gi, Kim Eui-sung as CEO Jang, Pyo Ye-jin as Go Eun, Jang Hyuk-jin as Chief Choi, and Bae Yoo-ram as Chief Park.

Following its 2023 broadcast, Taxi Driver 2 ranked fifth among all Korean terrestrial and cable dramas with a 21% peak viewership rating — establishing itself as a model for successful Korean seasonal dramas.

The series also captivated global audiences, topping viewership charts across 16 countries on Asia's leading OTT platform Viu within just ten days of release. It went on to win Best Drama Series at the 28th Asian Television Awards (ATA), solidifying its global acclaim.
