Performer and composer steps into local spotlight after global success
Singer-songwriter Lee Jae, known for his work in K-pop Demon Hunters, is officially beginning his domestic promotions with a live radio appearance today.
First Korean schedule since global rise
On October 12, KBS Cool FM's "Lee Eun-ji's K-pop Plaza" announced via social media that Lee Jae would appear on the October 13 broadcast, inviting fans to submit questions and eyewitness stories through comments and text messages.
The show will air as a visual radio livestream, where Lee Jae is set to discuss behind-the-scenes stories from K-pop Demon Hunters, his experience as both a composer and vocalist, and details about his upcoming solo music.
From "K-pop Demon Hunters" to NBC
In K-pop Demon Hunters, Lee Jae voiced Rumi from the fictional girl group "HUNTRIX," while also contributing as a composer and lyricist to several tracks including Golden, How It's Done, and Free.
He previously trained under SM Entertainment for about ten years and recently drew attention after it was revealed that he is the granddaughter of veteran actor Shin Young-kyun — adding even more intrigue to his growing career.
Earlier this month, on October 8, Lee Jae performed Golden alongside Audrey Nuna and Rae Ami on the NBC show "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon", marking a rare K-pop-based collaboration on American late-night TV.
Upcoming solo release
Lee Jae will continue her artistic journey with the release of her new single "In Another World" on October 24, signaling a new phase that bridges her global recognition and domestic artistry.
