NMIXX has achieved impressive chart results with their first full-length album "Blue Valentine." The group released the album on October 13 at 6 p.m. KST, featuring the title track of the same name — a pop song built on a dynamic boom-bap rhythm with tempo variations.
Sweeping Domestic and Global Charts
As of 10 p.m. on October 13, "Blue Valentine" ranked No.1 on Hanteo's daily album chart. By 8 a.m. on October 14, it also topped Apple Music's Top Album Chart in Korea, as well as iTunes Top Album Charts in Hong Kong, Kazakhstan, and Singapore.
The title track "Blue Valentine" continued its streak, hitting No.1 on Melon's Hot100 (100-day and 30-day charts), No.11 on the Top100, and No.1 on Bugs' real-time chart as of midnight on October 14.
"We Poured Our Hearts into It"
Ahead of the release, NMIXX held a countdown live broadcast with fans. "We're so excited to step onto a new stage with NSWERs (our fandom)," they said. "Since this is our first full-length album, we put in a lot of time and effort. We hope everyone loves it."
A Dual Portrait of Love
The album visualizes the ambivalence of love, spanning 12 tracks including "SPINNIN' ON IT," "Phoenix," "RICO," and "Crush On You." Members Lily and Haewon contributed lyrics — Lily wrote for the group's first all-English track "Reality Hurts," while Haewon penned "PODIUM."
NMIXX will also hold their first solo concert on November 29–30, continuing their momentum as one of K-pop's most dynamic girl groups.
