Actor and singer Lee Junho is lending his own voice to the soundtrack of his latest series, bringing extra emotional depth to the story.
Lee will release "Did You See The Rainbow?" on October 19 at 6 p.m. as part of the OST for tvN's weekend drama "Typhoon Company."
A Hopeful Message Wrapped in Soft Pop Rock
The track is a soft pop-rock song showcasing Lee Junho's warm yet emotionally rich vocals. According to the production team, "His gentle tone and expressive delivery amplify the song's emotional resonance."
The lyrics carry a message of perseverance and hope — that even through life's toughest storms, believing in oneself will eventually lead to brighter days. Lines like "The story we've written so far isn't over yet" capture the courage to face challenges head-on and keep moving forward.
A Gift from the Star Himself
Producers noted, "As a member of K-pop group 2PM, Lee Junho brings both star power and sincerity to the project. His participation in the OST adds depth to the drama and serves as a special gift for fans."
"Typhoon Company" is set in 1997 during Korea's IMF financial crisis and follows the story of Kang Tae-poong (played by Lee Junho), a rookie businessman who becomes the head of a failing trading company with no employees, money, or products to sell.
The drama airs every Saturday and Sunday at 9:10 p.m. on tvN.
(Cultural context: It's a long-standing K-drama tradition for lead actors—especially idols-turned-actors like Lee Junho—to sing the OST, enhancing fans' emotional connection to both the character and the story.)
