TWS has been officially invited to perform at COUNTDOWN JAPAN 25/26, one of Japan's largest year-end indoor music festivals, set to take place on December 27 at Makuhari Messe in Tokyo.
Launched in 2003, the annual festival draws massive crowds, with over 160,000 attendees last year. This year's lineup includes top Japanese acts such as ASIAN KUNG-FU GENERATION, UVERworld, Vaundy, and Creepy Nuts — and now, K-pop's rising stars TWS join the stage.
TWS previously appeared at ROCK IN JAPAN FESTIVAL 2025, another major summer event, where they proved their growing popularity among Japanese audiences.
The group officially debuted in Japan this summer, holding a 13-show tour across six cities. Their youthful energy and refreshing charisma have positioned them as one of K-pop's most promising new acts.
Their debut Japanese single "Hajimemashite" surpassed 250,000 shipments, earning a Platinum certification from the Recording Industry Association of Japan. Their latest track "Overdrive", released on October 13, topped LINE MUSIC's K-Pop Top 100 chart for two consecutive days (October 14–15).
The "Overdrive" music video has also ranked among the daily trending videos on both Korean and Japanese YouTube.
A representative shared, "TWS will deliver an energetic and powerful performance filled with the heat of youth — a perfect way to close out the year."
