Kim Yoo-jung unveils a chilling transformation in the upcoming TVING original series Dear X (written by Choi Ja-won & Ban Ji-woon, directed by Lee Eung-bok & Park So-hyun). On October 15, the production team released the main poster and trailer, revealing the actress's haunting new persona.

Described as a "melodramatic suspense of destruction," Dear X follows Baek Ah-jin (played by Kim Yoo-jung), a woman who hides her demonic nature behind a perfect mask. Determined to escape her personal hell, she uses anyone necessary to climb to the top — no matter the cost.

The main poster captures Ah-jin's cold stare and faint smile, radiating a quiet menace. The tagline reads, "If life began in hell, wouldn't it be better to become the monster yourself?" — hinting at the show's dark psychological tone.

The trailer opens with a voice accusing, "Baek Ah-jin… she's truly vicious." As voices from her past recall memories filled with anger and fear, Ah-jin's double life unfolds — a woman who changes masks at will and manipulates those around her. Her chilling declaration, "I'll rise so high that no one can ever touch me," reveals her consuming ambition.

Based on the hit webtoon of the same name, Dear X brings together acclaimed director Lee Eung-bok — known for Sweet Home, Mr. Sunshine, Guardian: The Lonely and Great God, and Descendants of the Sun — with co-director Park So-hyun's nuanced storytelling.

The script is penned by award-winning writer Choi Ja-won, who won KBS's 2018 drama script contest, and the webtoon's original creator Ban Ji-woon. Together, they promise to deliver a gripping, genre-driven thriller.

Dear X premieres on TVING on November 6.
