Actor Lee Jun-young is set to captivate Japanese audiences as Aoi Yuu's first love in the upcoming Japanese film Tokyo Taxi (directed by Yamada Yoji).
On October 16, the production team released behind-the-scenes photos featuring Lee Jun-young and Aoi Yuu. The two were seen standing in the middle of an old dance hall, smiling brightly as they danced together — their romantic chemistry already sparking excitement among fans.
To perfect the scene, Lee Jun-young took separate dance lessons, dedicating himself to practice before filming with his co-star. Despite feeling shy when the director mentioned there would be a kiss scene, he quickly switched to full focus once the camera rolled, showcasing his professionalism.
Tokyo Taxi marks director Yamada Yoji's 91st film and is a remake of the French movie of the same name. It tells the story of miraculous moments encountered at the end of one's life.
Lee plays Kim Young-gi, the first love of the main character Sumire (played by Baisho Chieko), making this his official debut in the Japanese film industry. His co-star, Aoi Yuu, portrays Sumire's younger self.
Tokyo Taxi is scheduled for release across Japan on November 21.
