Actress Lee Yo-won is stepping into a new chapter of her career — hosting her very first variety show.

On October 16, KBS2's Mr. House Husband Season 2 confirmed, "Lee Yo-won will join as the new MC. She'll bring fresh energy and warmth to the program with her unique charm."

Since her 1998 debut, Lee has built an impressive career across diverse genres with works such as Queen Seondeok, Surgeon Bong Dal-hee, Cruel Love, Horse Doctor, Night Light, and Avengers Social Club, as well as the films May 18 and When Romance Meets Destiny.

After 28 years in the industry, Lee is taking on her first-ever hosting role. As a mother of three, she plans to share honest insights and relatable stories from her own experiences with family and homemaking.

Having already completed her first recording, she said, "My youngest son loves Mr. House Husband and watches it often. Coming to the set today felt like going on a fun school trip."

Producers added, "Her chemistry with fellow host Eun Ji-won will bring both humor and warmth to Saturday nights. Viewers can expect laughter and touching moments through this new lineup."

The revamped Mr. House Husband featuring Lee Yo-won will air on October 25 at 10:45 p.m.
