Actresses Kim Hee-sun, Han Hye-jin, and Jin Seo-yeon are set to deliver powerful synergy in TV Chosun's new Monday–Tuesday mini-series No Next Life (written by Shin Yi-won, directed by Kim Jung-min), premiering November 10 at 10 p.m. (KST).
The drama follows three forty-one-year-old friends trapped in repetitive daily routines — juggling parenting, careers, and midlife struggles — as they navigate the chaotic yet comical "second adolescence" of adulthood.
Director Kim Jung-min, known for The Princess' Man and The Secret Romantic Guesthouse, teams up with Green Mothers' Club writer Shin Yi-won to craft a warm and realistic story. The cast includes Kim Hee-sun, Han Hye-jin, Jin Seo-yeon, Yoon Park, Heo Jun-seok, and Jang In-seop, all bringing strong performances to this relatable ensemble drama.
During the recently released script reading, the cast reportedly poured their passion into every scene from the very first meeting.
Kim Hee-sun plays Jo Na-jung, a former high-earning home shopping host who is now a stay-at-home mother of two. She delivers a grounded yet fierce performance — portraying both the humor and pain of a woman trying to reclaim her lost career and identity.
Han Hye-jin takes on the role of Gu Joo-young, the head of planning at an art center. Outwardly perfect, she struggles privately with infertility and a sexless marriage. Han draws empathy through her calm yet emotionally layered portrayal.
Jin Seo-yeon transforms into Lee Il-ri, the vibrant deputy editor of a fashion magazine and a single woman who still dreams of marriage. Her fiery charisma and playful charm bring color and humor to the trio's friendship.
Meanwhile, Yoon Park plays Noh Won-bin, Na-jung's husband and a home shopping PD known for his stoic yet caring nature, while Heo Jun-seok and Jang In-seop add depth as the trio's old college friends.
The production team shared, "All the actors brought incredible passion and energy to the first script reading. The series will deliver heartfelt laughter and universal empathy through the growing pains of adulthood."
No Next Life premieres on November 10 at 10 p.m. on TV Chosun and will also be available for streaming on Netflix.
