The production team behind the web variety show 'Trip KODE' has decided not to release the episode featuring (G)I-DLE's Miyeon and Bae Jin-young of CIX.

On October 16, the show's producers announced, "After careful internal discussion, we have decided to temporarily postpone the upload of today's scheduled episode."

'Trip KODE' is a new YouTube series launched by the channel CODE CODE, built around a playful premise — the contestant who raises their partner's heart rate the most wins the game.

However, after the teaser dropped on October 9, the show faced backlash from viewers who criticized the "idol dating show" format, comparing it to We Got Married, the once-popular virtual marriage program.

Amid the growing concern, Miyeon reassured fans through her communication platform, saying, "There's nothing to worry about," while Bae Jin-young clarified, "It's just a fun game-like concept."

Despite their explanations, public criticism continued. The production team ultimately made the video private and issued an apology, stating, "We deeply regret disappointing those who were looking forward to the episode, and we've decided to suspend its release for now."
