Jannabi is set to deliver the ultimate autumn sentiment with their upcoming fourth full-length album, Sound of Music pt.2 : LIFE, teasing a collection rich in emotional storytelling and poetic warmth.
On October 17, the band unveiled a highlight medley through their official social media channels, offering listeners a glimpse into the record's nostalgic mood and lyrical depth.
Autumn Stories, Youthful Sentiments
The medley paints a cinematic picture — school uniforms, bicycles, and scenes that evoke the wistful innocence of youth. Through the track After School Activity, Jannabi unfolds tales of adolescence.
The title track, Goodbye, First Love, captures the tender ache of a young romance, while Oh, New York City reflects personal experiences the band had in New York.
Stellar Collaborations
The album's feature lineup adds emotional weight. Veteran singer Yang Hee-eun lends her voice to Jack Kerouac, while AKMU's Lee Su-hyun features on Mother, a song inspired by the imagined reflections of becoming a parent.
Other tracks include Earth, Mountain Man, Tales of Summer 1, the skit TV Commercial for a Summer Night Circus: Sweat & Stardust, and Mia's Memories and the Universe, rounding out a total of 12 songs.
The Second Chapter of 'Sound of Music'
Sound of Music is Jannabi's ambitious two-part fourth album project. Part 1, released in April, captured the vibrant energy of youth. Part 2 turns inward, embracing the quiet romanticism of autumn and exploring Jannabi's contemplative life philosophy.
The new album Sound of Music pt.2 : LIFE will be released on October 21 at 6 p.m. KST across major streaming platforms.
