TWS continues to rise as one of K-pop's fastest-growing groups.
According to Hanteo Chart's latest update (covering October 13–19), TWS's 4th mini album play hard sold approximately 639,787 copies in its first week of release. The group broke their previous record set by their 3rd mini album TRY WITH US, which recorded 558,702 first-week sales — a new personal best achieved just four days after release.
The title track OVERDRIVE has been gaining significant traction both domestically and internationally. The song combines TWS's signature refreshing sound with a powerful performance, creating a dynamic synergy that resonates with fans worldwide.
Immediately after its release, OVERDRIVE topped the real-time chart on Bugs in Korea and held the No.1 spot for four consecutive days on Japan's LINE MUSIC Daily "K-Pop Top 100" chart.
play hard captures TWS's evolution, portraying the transition from youthful innocence to passionate youth. The album delivers a diverse musical palette — from intensity to freshness — reflecting the group's expanding artistry.
TWS is set to perform at Countdown Japan 25/26, held at Makuhari Messe in Tokyo on December 27.
