by. ymchoi

BLACKPINK is officially entering the final stages of their long-awaited comeback.

On October 20, YG Entertainment announced that the group will begin filming the music video for their new song this week, adding that the upcoming album is "nearing completion." Specific details such as the release schedule and concept have yet to be revealed. A representative stated, "Once preparations are finalized, we will share the updates through official promotions."

Executive Producer Yang Hyun-suk previously confirmed the release of BLACKPINK's new album in August, noting, "The members and the production team are working hard." He added, "We hope the album will be out by November at the latest, and we're doing our best to make that happen."

This marks BLACKPINK's first full album in nearly three years, following the release of Born Pink in 2022. The group most recently dropped their single RUN in July, further heightening anticipation for their comeback.

BLACKPINK is currently on their Deadline world tour. In August, they made history as the first K-pop girl group to hold a solo concert at Wembley Stadium in London.

Up next, the group will meet fans in Bangkok from October 24 to 26, before continuing the tour to Jakarta, Bulacan, Singapore, Tokyo, and Hong Kong in the following months.
