Jannabi has returned with a heartfelt soundtrack for autumn, earning overwhelming attention from listeners. On October 21, the band released their 4th full album "Sound of Music pt.2: LIFE," the follow-up to part 1 of their ongoing project.
The title track "Goodbye, First Love" entered Melon's Hot 100 at No. 10 (as of October 22) and ranked No. 83 on the Top 100. Other tracks, "Jack Kerouac" featuring veteran singer Yang Hee Eun and "Mother" featuring AKMU's Lee Suhyun, also charted impressively.
"Goodbye, First Love" delicately portrays the bittersweet moment of meeting one's grown self within the memory of a first love. Jannabi's signature sentimentality harmonizes beautifully with orchestral elements.
"Jack Kerouac" reflects the whirlwinds of youth from two contrasting perspectives, while "Mother" tenderly expresses the emotions one would share when becoming a parent. Both songs highlight Jannabi's refined storytelling and musical warmth.
With their new album, Jannabi paints a nostalgic diary of life and love — an autumnal soundtrack that lingers long after the final note.
