Xdinary Heroes have officially returned with their seventh mini album, LXVE to DEATH, and the title track ICU, marking their first comeback in seven months. Through a Q&A shared on October 24, the band opened up about the creative process, the meaning behind the album, and their love for fans.
Seven Shades of Love
The new album captures love in all its forms — longing, desire, and emotional collapse — across seven tracks, including FiRE, Lost and Found, Ashes to Ashes, Spoiler!!!, Love Tug of War, and LOVE ME 2 DEATH.
"We wanted to explore love from different angles," the members said. "Each track reflects a distinct perspective on love — the honest emotions that are hard to express in words."
Title Track 'ICU' — Explosive Hard Rock Energy
ICU introduces Xdinary Heroes' first attempt at a hard rock-style title track. Built on powerful guitar riffs and dynamic beats reminiscent of 1980s rock, the song delivers a thrilling rush through its explosive chorus and unpredictable rhythm.
"ICU was made for the stage," said members Gunil and Gaon. "We wanted a song that would let us go wild in front of our fans — something that bursts with energy."

Members' Favorite Tracks and Creative Roles
All members participated in writing and composing every track on the album. Gunil, Jeong Su, and Gaon picked Lost and Found as their favorite, citing its emotional depth and detailed sound. O.de and Jun Han favored Spoiler!!! for its playful synths and live energy, while Jooyeon chose LOVE ME 2 DEATH, saying, "It's a song that made us wonder if we could pull it off — and we did."
Performing Worldwide — From Lollapalooza to MUSE
Xdinary Heroes have built a strong live reputation, performing at major global festivals including Lollapalooza Chicago and opening for legendary rock band MUSE in Korea.
Gunil recalled, "Hearing the crowd roar during my drum solo for MUSE's opening set was unforgettable."
O.de added, "During Moneyball, when everyone jumped together, I realized what real connection with the audience feels like."
The Finale of 'Beautiful Mind' World Tour
The band is now preparing for the finale of their Beautiful Mind world tour, which will take place at Jamsil Indoor Stadium, their largest solo venue to date. "It's thrilling and nerve-racking," they shared. "Our concerts are known for nonstop energy — no breaks, just pure adrenaline. Expect brand-new stages and a powerful closing."
Reflections on 2025 and a Message to Fans
As the year nears its end, members reflected on their journey:
- Gaon: "We've achieved about 70% of our goals this year. Touring the world remains the highlight."
- Jooyeon: "I feel our dream — making people happy through our music — is coming true."
- Gunil: "We've grown this much thanks to Villains (our fandom). We'll never take your love for granted."
The members concluded with heartfelt messages to fans:
"Villains, you're the reason we keep going," said Jeong Su.
"Let's stay healthy, love deeply, and keep making great memories together," added Gaon.
"Our love is real — we'll keep returning that love with our best performances," O.de promised.
With LXVE to DEATH, Xdinary Heroes deliver not only seven songs about love but also a reflection of their passion, creativity, and gratitude — a fitting finale to a milestone year in their musical journey.
