LE SSERAFIM is back with a powerful comeback. On October 24 at 1 PM (KST), the group released their first single album SPAGHETTI across major streaming platforms, unveiling two tracks as irresistibly tangled and addictive as the dish itself.
The members shared their excitement, saying, "It's our comeback after seven months, and we're thrilled to show a new side of ourselves. We've prepared hard, so we hope listeners can feel the fun and refreshing charm of this single."
Addictive Concept and Bold Collaboration
The album title reflects the group's unique appeal. "Even food you don't like can become addictive the more you eat it. We wanted to express that kind of strange, irresistible charm of LE SSERAFIM," they explained.
The title track SPAGHETTI features BTS's j-hope, who adds a stylish rap verse. Members Sakura and Huh Yunjin participated in the songwriting process, blending their raw vocals with j-hope's rhythmic energy.
Hong Eunchae recalled, "The rough voice in the intro was new and memorable, while the chorus is super exciting—it captures so many sides of us." Sakura added, "This song lets us smile and enjoy ourselves on stage. Both the lyrics and choreography are fun, so we can perform it joyfully."
Hook-Filled Lyrics and Message
Leader Kim Chaewon described the track's strongest point as its instant catchiness. "It's a song you can hum after just one listen. Lines like 'Chew it, taste it, enjoy it' and 'Stuck in your head, SSERAFIM' make it even more engaging."
Huh Yunjin revealed the creative inspiration: "When we won first place with our previous title 'Hot,' I thought, 'We're stuck in everyone's heads like food between their teeth.' That's how this song started."
Heartfelt Thanks to j-hope and Fans
Kazuha shared, "When we first heard j-hope's recorded version, we were amazed. His energy became the kick of the track."
Huh Yunjin added, "I once featured in his album, and this time he joined ours—it felt truly meaningful."
The single also includes Pearlies (My Oyster is the World), a fan-dedicated song inspired by Yunjin's message during their world tour in Incheon. "It's for FEARNOT. Please listen carefully to the lyrics," she said.
