2NE1's Park Bom is receiving treatment for emotional instability, according to her agency, which has asked the public and media to refrain from sharing her recent social media posts.
On October 24, D-NATION Entertainment released a statement saying, "We apologize for causing concern due to Park Bom's recent social media posts. We sincerely thank everyone who has sent encouragement and support."
Request for Understanding and Privacy
The agency explained that Park Bom is currently in a "highly unstable emotional state" and that communication has been difficult. "She urgently needs professional treatment and rest for recovery," they added.
They continued, "Her posts have been circulating online through multiple channels, leading to misinterpretations and unnecessary misunderstandings. The situation has caused distress not only to Park Bom but also to her family and acquaintances."
D-NATION further requested, "Please refrain from indiscriminate sharing of her posts. We will do our best to ensure she recovers quickly and can greet fans again in a healthier state."
Background of the Incident
On October 22, Park Bom mentioned her former agency YG Entertainment and producer Yang Hyun-suk on social media, claiming she suffered financial harm during past settlement processes. Her agency clarified that the 2NE1 settlement had already been completed and that "no legal complaint related to the matter was actually filed."
Park Bom has been on hiatus since August due to health concerns.
