NCT's Yuta is making a bold statement in Japan with his first full-length album, embracing an intense rock sound that cements his image as a true rock star.
Yuta released his Japanese debut album PERSONA at noon on October 25 through major streaming platforms, accompanied by the music video for the title track EMBER on YouTube.
A Fiery Message of Determination
The title track EMBER fuses metal elements with rock, driven by explosive guitar riffs and Yuta's powerful vocals. The song delivers a message about facing fears and persevering with unyielding willpower — like an inner flame that never burns out.
The album features ten tracks, each exploring different emotional landscapes. New World depicts a dynamic journey of rediscovery, while Two of Us channels raw emotion through heavy metal sound. Get Out of My Mind expresses liberation from monotony with Yuta's soaring voice, and Knock Knock amplifies energy with its addictive, repeating chorus.
Other songs include If We Lose It All Tonight, about confronting limits and fate; Passive-Who, a call to turn impossibility into possibility; and To Love Someone, a track that reflects on confusion, pain, and longing with emotional depth.
Expanding His Musical Universe
Previously released singles Twisted Paradise and When I'm Not Around (May 2025) are also included, showcasing Yuta's versatility across the rock spectrum.
Yuta will perform all tracks from PERSONA live during his first solo concert tour, 2025 PERSONA, which kicks off on October 31 at Fukuoka Civic Hall.
