(G)I-DLE has lent their powerful vocals to the opening theme of a popular Japanese anime series.
Season 3 of the TV anime Beyblade X aired its 101st episode on October 24 across six Tokyo-based networks in Japan. The episode featured (G)I-DLE's Invincible as the new opening theme song—marking their first Japanese EP release in five years.
Energizing the Legendary Series
Invincible is part of (G)I-DLE's rebranded Japanese album I-dle, and its energetic sound perfectly enhances the intensity of the anime's battle scenes. The Beyblade franchise, which first aired in 1999, remains a global hit, with Beyblade X commemorating its 25th anniversary.
Expanding Their Presence in Japan
(G)I-DLE released their new Japanese EP I-dle on October 3, featuring five tracks including the title song Doushiyokkana (What Should I Do), Goodbye Forever to the World I Couldn't Love, and Invincible, along with Japanese versions of Queencard and I Hate Being Sick.
The title track topped the Oricon Daily Album Chart upon release and reclaimed the No.1 spot again from October 18 to 20. The group also connected with fans through their first Japanese arena tour Ai-dle (逢い-dle), held in Saitama and Kobe.
