Rumors about G-Dragon performing at Cheomseongdae have been spreading online, but Gyeongju City has confirmed the information is entirely false.

On October 26, city officials released a statement clarifying, "Posts circulating on online communities and blogs claiming that G-Dragon will perform at the 'APEC 2025 Gyeongju Cheomseongdae Concert' are completely untrue."

Social media posts had claimed that the singer would hold a free performance at Cheomseongdae in celebration of the upcoming APEC Summit. Some posts even included fabricated details, such as the event being set against the UNESCO World Heritage site and requiring prior registration.

A Gyeongju City representative emphasized, "Not only is there no registration or application process, but the event itself is baseless. We urge citizens to verify all information through official channels."

The 2025 APEC Summit will take place in Gyeongju, North Gyeongsang Province, from October 31 to November 1.
