Actor Jung Hae In has been honored with the Prime Minister's Commendation for his contributions to social welfare and philanthropy.
The 10th Finance Day ceremony was held on October 28 at FKI Tower in Yeouido, Seoul. The national event recognizes individuals who have advanced Korea's financial sector and contributed positively to society.
Jung Hae In received the commendation for his continuous support of children awaiting adoption, as well as for his volunteer work and charitable donations.
In his acceptance speech, he said, "This award is especially meaningful because I was able to do good things together with my fans. I sincerely thank everyone who joined me. I'll continue to promote the message of giving and sharing, and do my best to spread positive influence."
Also recognized at the ceremony were actress Jang Nara, who received the Presidential Commendation for donating over 20 billion KRW since her debut, and singer Taeyeon, who was awarded the Prime Minister's Commendation for her support of underprivileged students and animal protection activities.
Meanwhile, Jung Hae In is currently filming the Netflix romantic comedy Such a Damn Love, where he plays Jang Tae Ha, a dedicated boxing coach navigating love and life with quiet sincerity.
