G-Dragon is set to bring the power of K-pop to the global stage once again — this time at the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) Summit.
On October 31, the artist will perform at the official welcome banquet for APEC leaders, held at the Lahan Hotel Grand Ballroom in Gyeongju. The event will host representatives and heads of state from all 21 APEC member countries, and G-Dragon will be the only K-pop artist featured in the program.
Appointed as an APEC promotional ambassador in July, G-Dragon's participation continues his role in showcasing Korean culture to the world. The promotional video he appeared in has already surpassed 17 million views as of October 27.
An APEC organizing committee spokesperson shared, "We expect G-Dragon to deliver a world-class performance that embodies both creativity and cultural pride."
Currently, G-Dragon is on his third world tour, Webermensch, with upcoming stops in Taipei and Hanoi next month.
