Soyou has received an official apology from the airline involved in her recent controversy and vowed legal action against false accusations, including claims that she was intoxicated during the flight.

On October 31, the singer shared on social media, "I filed a written complaint before landing regarding the incidents that occurred during the flight. This week, I received an email apology from Delta Air Lines."

She continued, "I want to thank everyone who empathized with what I went through over the past week. I also apologize for causing concern with a personal matter."

Soyou strongly condemned false reports surrounding the incident. "I will take firm legal action against defamatory remarks and any violations of my personal rights," she emphasized.

The controversy began on October 19, when Soyou boarded a return flight to Korea after her schedule in New York. She claimed to have experienced racial discrimination from some flight attendants and the purser during the trip, stating, "The purser treated me like a problematic passenger and even called security. I had to endure cold attitudes throughout the flight."

However, some eyewitnesses shared differing accounts online, alleging that Soyou was intoxicated and refused her meal service. One post claimed she admitted to being "a little drunk."

Soyou refuted the claims, explaining, "I only had a small amount of alcohol in the lounge before boarding. There were no issues or restrictions during the boarding process."
