ILLIT is lending their voice to a Japanese TV anime soundtrack.

According to BELIFT LAB, the group will perform the opening theme for It's Time for Torture, Princess Season 2, set to air in January 2026.

The anime is based on a 2019 manga about a captured princess surrounded by irresistible food temptations, blending humor and fantasy. ILLIT expressed their excitement, saying, "We're honored to sing for an anime loved by so many in Japan. We can't wait to see what kind of synergy our music will create."

The group has already built a strong connection with Japanese audiences. Their OST Almond Chocolate for the film I Don't Like You Just Because of Your Face earned over 50 million streams, receiving a Gold certification from the Recording Industry Association of Japan within five months of release.

Their Japanese debut single Toki Yo Tomare was chosen as the main OST for a local model survival show, while Topping, a B-side track, was featured in commercials.

ILLIT is also set to release their first single album Not Cute Anymore on November 24, alongside a fan meeting event.
