Ahn Eun-jin and Jang Ki-yong are bringing every flavor of romance to the small screen — from passionate adult love to playful, best-friend banter.
At the production press conference for SBS's new drama Kisses That Happen for No Reason (written by Ha Yoon-ah and Tae Kyung-min, directed by Kim Jae-hyun and Kim Hyun-woo), held on November 5 in Seoul, the lead actors shared their excitement and behind-the-scenes stories.

Love, Secrets, and Double Lives
The series follows Go Da-rim (Ahn Eun-jin), a woman who pretends to be a married mother to land a job at a baby products company, and Gong Ji-hyuk (Jang Ki-yong), her boss who unknowingly falls for her. The unpredictable romance unfolds with a mix of thrill and emotional depth.
Ahn Eun-jin said, "I've always wanted to do a romantic comedy, and this script came at the perfect time. Every episode bursts with dopamine." She added, "I wanted viewers to look at Da-rim and Ji-hyuk and feel the thrill of falling in love. I worked hard on both my acting and my appearance to reflect that."

Perfect On-Screen Connection
Jang Ki-yong, who plays the sharp yet soft-hearted team leader Ji-hyuk, reunites with director Kim Jae-hyun after Now, We Are Breaking Up. "I wanted to work with Ahn Eun-jin the moment I read the script — she just was Go Da-rim," he said.
Their chemistry was undeniable from the first day on set, with staff calling it "a perfect 100." Jang shared, "Eun-jin has such bright, cheerful energy that it makes everyone happy." Ahn returned the praise, saying, "Jang Ki-yong seems like a cool, reserved type, but he's actually warm and full of playful charm — that energy really shines in this drama."
A Love Adventure
Director Kim described the series as "a romance close to a disaster film," teasing both emotional turbulence and plenty of memorable kiss scenes.
Kisses That Happen for No Reason premieres on November 12 at 9 p.m. on SBS.
