Actresses Jeon Do Yeon and Kim Go Eun deliver an intense acting ensemble in the upcoming mystery thriller The Price of Confession, marking their reunion after a decade.
Netflix confirmed on November 6 that the series will premiere globally on December 5. Alongside the announcement, the platform released a teaser poster and trailer.
The visuals show Jeon Do Yeon (as Ahn Yoon Soo) and Kim Go Eun (as Mo Eun) standing face-to-face with only a wall between them — both wearing identical prison uniforms. Jeon's character, accused of murdering her husband, cries out, "I didn't kill him." Kim's character, known as "the witch," maintains a chilling calm, hinting at manipulation and mystery. The tagline "Suspicious innocence, a confession for sale" sets the tone for their dangerous relationship.
Park Hae Soo plays prosecutor Baek Dong Hoon, who investigates the women's secrets, while Jin Sun Kyu appears as Yoon Soo's defense lawyer, Jang Jung Goo. Kim Go Eun's line — "In the end, we'll end up doing this crazy thing" — deepens the intrigue.
The Price of Confession follows two women bound by guilt, secrets, and survival — one accused of murder, the other pulling invisible strings.
This marks Jeon Do Yeon and Kim Go Eun's first collaboration since the 2015 film Memories of the Sword. Directed by Lee Jung Hyo, known for Doona!, Crash Landing on You, and The Good Wife, the series promises gripping tension and powerhouse performances.
