Actresses Kim Heesun, Han Hyejin, and Jin Seoyeon capture the raw emotions of life in their 40s in TV Chosun's new Monday–Tuesday drama No Next Life (written by Shin Iwon, directed by Kim Jungmin).
From rooftop youth to living-room reality
On November 6, the production released still cuts showing the trio sharing an intimate "real talk" over drinks. The images contrast their vibrant 20s—when they gathered on a rooftop bar called "Illy Bar" and toasted under the sky—with their present-day selves quietly clinking glasses in a living room filled with children's toys.
Kim Heesun's grounded transformation
Kim appears as Jo Najung, a former star home-shopping host who quit her career to raise her child. Now a stay-at-home mother longing to reenter the workforce, she faces the hard truths of reality. Her wavy hair and casual T-shirt look complete a down-to-earth image that resonates deeply with many women.
Complex lives and unspoken struggles
Han Hyejin plays Koo Jooyoung, a seemingly perfect art center manager who struggles privately with her asexual husband and her desire to have a child. Jin Seoyeon portrays Lee Ilri, a magazine deputy editor and proud single woman who still dreams of marriage.
Comedy with heartfelt depth
No Next Life combines humor with heartfelt storytelling, chronicling the survival and friendship of three 41-year-old women caught between parenting chaos, work fatigue, and the search for self-fulfillment.
The drama premieres on November 10 at 10 p.m. on TV Chosun.
