Fantagio has issued an apology following reports of accidental calls made to unrelated numbers during Cha Eunwoo's recent ARS fan event.

Misdialing incident during ELSE promotion

On November 5, the agency explained, "Some users entered the number incorrectly, which led to unintended calls being connected elsewhere. We sincerely apologize to those affected."

The event, launched on November 4 to promote Cha Eunwoo's second solo mini album ELSE, allowed fans to dial a specific phone number and hear a pre-recorded voice message from the artist, recorded before his military enlistment.

Overwhelming response and unexpected issues

More than 100,000 calls were made during the event's early hours, demonstrating Cha Eunwoo's immense popularity. However, a portion of fans misdialed the number, resulting in calls reaching private citizens.

Current activities

Cha Eunwoo enlisted in the military band last July and recorded ELSE prior to his service. He currently appears in the film First Ride, directed by Nam Daejung, continuing to connect with fans through multiple platforms despite his enlistment.
