FIFTY FIFTY has teamed up with one of France's most celebrated hip-hop artists.
Sony Music Korea announced that FIFTY FIFTY participated in the official soundtrack for the French film Yoroi with the track Oulalalala, featuring French rapper Orelsan.
The song blends an intense beat with a dreamy melody, creating a distinctive sound that fuses FIFTY FIFTY's vocals with Orelsan's rhythmic flow.
A cross-cultural collaboration
Orelsan, a multi-award-winning rapper often dubbed "France's Grammy artist" for his repeated victories at the Victoires de la Musique, marks his first-ever collaboration with a Korean act through Oulalalala.
He recalled, "I was obsessed with FIFTY FIFTY's Cupid for a while. When I was searching for a feature track for the film, Sony Music proposed a collaboration—it felt like fate."
Global sound meets French storytelling
FIFTY FIFTY shared, "Orelsan's artistry and storytelling deeply inspired us. We were able to explore new colors of our own, and we're thrilled to share it with listeners around the world."
The single Oulalalala by FIFTY FIFTY and Orelsan was released worldwide on all major streaming platforms at 8 a.m. on November 7.
