The black-and-white artwork features signed baseball caps with member numbers, heightening curiosity about the group's next story. The title Play Ball—a phrase used by referees to signal the start of a game in baseball or tennis—symbolizes NOWZ's fresh challenge and determination to define their own sound.

Earlier this year, NOWZ declared a rebranding of their identity and solidified their artistic direction through their first mini-album IGNITION. With this upcoming release, the group aims to take another leap forward in their musical journey.
