Model Han Hye-jin has fallen victim to a hacking incident on her YouTube channel.
On November 10, Han revealed through her social media that her account had been compromised. "I was informed by the production team and people around me that a live broadcast about cryptocurrency had gone out," she explained.
She stated that she has already filed an appeal with YouTube, saying, "I've taken every possible measure to restore the channel and am waiting for their response."
Han clarified that "the live broadcast aired during early morning hours had nothing to do with me or my production team," expressing deep concern that "no one will be harmed because of this incident."
"I'm really heartbroken because this is a channel I personally planned and built," she added. "I apologize for causing concern and inconvenience, and I'll do my best to have it restored as soon as possible."
The hacked broadcast featured a livestream discussing the future of the cryptocurrency market, with Ripple (XRP) CEO Brad Garlinghouse appearing in the video.
After the incident, Han Hye-jin's channel became inaccessible, reportedly deleted by YouTube for community guideline violations.
