Hoshi of SEVENTEEN and his family have extended their legacy of generosity. Following Hoshi's previous contribution, both his parents have now joined the high-value donor circle.

On the 11th, the Community Chest of Korea announced, "Hoshi's mother, Park Mi-young, has been registered as the 3,729th member of the Honor Society, a group of major donors."

The Honor Society was founded in December 2007 to bring together leading figures who contribute at least 100 million KRW or make an equivalent pledge to the Community Chest of Korea.

The Hoshi family is now officially listed as a Family Honor member. Hoshi donated 100 million KRW in 2021 to mark his 26th birthday, while his father, Kwon Hyuk-doo, joined the following year.

Together, the family has continued to support community welfare. Most recently, Hoshi donated 100 million KRW to fund the construction of a public school in Zambia, Africa.

Hoshi is currently fulfilling his mandatory military service, having enlisted on September 16. His expected discharge date is March 15, 2027.
