Hwang Jung-min and Yum Jung-ah are teaming up once again in the newly confirmed sequel to Netflix's action-entertainment film Cross.
High-Stakes Cultural Heritage Mission
Netflix announced on the 13th that Cross 2 has officially entered production. The film centers on a major cultural property theft, following a married couple who launch into a covert mission to stop the illegal export of national treasures.
Hwang Jung-min reprises his role as Kang-moo, a warm-hearted husband and former special agent tasked by the president with recovering a stolen artifact.
Yum Jung-ah returns as Mi-seon, a former national shooting team athlete turned violent crime detective. She joins Kang-moo on the operation, continuing their dynamic from the first film.

Returning Faces and New Additions
Familiar cast members also return, including Jung Man-sik, Lee Ho-cheol, and Cha Rae-hyung as the investigation team leaders and members who bring strong scene-stealing energy.
The sequel introduces new characters as well: Yoon Kyung-ho plays Chun In-hak, the elusive head of a criminal syndicate; Lim Sung-jae appears as Do-chil, a fence dealing in stolen goods; and Cha In-pyo takes on the role of the president.
Cross 2 will be released exclusively on Netflix.
