Actress Nana confronted and overpowered an armed intruder who broke into her home.

According to her agency Sublime, "Early this morning, an intruder entered Nana's residence. Thankfully, she did not suffer major injuries."

The agency later released a fuller statement, confirming that both Nana and her mother were hurt during the struggle. "While subduing the intruder, Nana's mother suffered severe injuries and briefly lost consciousness. Nana also sustained physical injuries," the agency said.

Both are currently receiving medical treatment and need rest. Sublime urged the public to refrain from speculation, false rumors, or invasive comments regarding the incident.

The Guri Police Station is investigating the case. Police have arrested a man in his 30s on charges of attempted aggravated robbery.

The intruder reportedly broke into Nana's home in Acheon-dong around 6 a.m., carrying a weapon and demanding money. Nana and her mother were inside at the time.

After a physical struggle, the two managed to subdue the intruder and called the police. When authorities arrived, the suspect was already injured and was transported to a hospital for treatment.
