Jang Dong-ju has officially left Nexus ENM.

A Nexus ENM representative confirmed in a call with Dispatch that the actor's exclusive contract has ended, adding that both sides had no plans to renew the agreement.

Jang Dong-ju debuted in 2017 through School 2019. He later appeared in dramas such as Revenge Is Back and Trigger, as well as films including Honest Candidate, Count, and The Guys.

Recently, he caused concern among fans after becoming unreachable for a short period. On October 31, he posted "I'm sorry" on social media, and it was later confirmed that there were no issues regarding his safety.

Both the actor and the agency have remained silent about the reason behind their apology statements. At the time, the agency only released a brief comment saying, "We apologize for causing concern."

Jang Dong-ju is set to appear in SBS's new drama I Am Human Starting Today, scheduled to premiere in January.
