Netflix's Black Chef vs. White Chef: The Culinary Class War Season 2 will arrive next month.
On the 18th, the production team unveiled the "Black Spoon" poster and teaser, signaling an intense showdown between confident black-spoon chefs and the elite white-spoon chefs preparing to defend their title.
The teaser features top-tier culinary names, including Michelin 2-star chef Lee Jun and 1-star chef Son Jong-won. Korea's first certified temple cuisine master, Ven. Seonjae, and 57-year Chinese-cuisine veteran Hu Deok-juk also make an appearance.
Season 2 expands the format into a "100-chef class war," where underground culinary masters—the "black spoons"—challenge Korea's most renowned star chefs—the "white spoons"—in a high-stakes survival competition.
The franchise already sparked a global K-food craze. Season 1 became the first Korean Netflix variety show to top the Global Top 10 TV (Non-English) chart for three consecutive weeks.
Producers shared, "We enhanced what viewers loved in Season 1 and improved weaker points. Look forward to new rules, missions, and surprise twists in Season 2."
Black Chef vs. White Chef 2 premieres worldwide on Netflix on December 16.
