"Deeper, tighter, and more exhilarating than ever!" Lee Je-hoon declared as Taxi Driver returned for its third season.
The beloved series resumes its mission of delivering justice on behalf of victims. The core cast — Lee Je-hoon, Kim Eui-sung, Pyo Ye-jin, Jang Hyuk-jin, and Bae Yoo-ram — reunites after five years, bringing back their strong teamwork.
At the production presentation held on the 18th at SBS in Yangcheon-gu, Seoul, the cast and director Kang Bo-seung shared their excitement for the final chapter of the trilogy.

The Final Chapter of the Franchise
Taxi Driver 3 marks the conclusion of the series. Lee Je-hoon reprises his role as Kim Do-gi, the strategist who designs and executes each revenge mission. Armed with sharp instincts and exceptional physicality, he navigates crises with ease and frequently adopts disguises to resolve cases.
Lee noted that he prepared multiple new alter-ego transformations for this season, adding that viewers will see a fierce Do-gi in episodes 1–2 and a comic, gullible Do-gi in episodes 3–4.
He also highlighted upgraded car-chase sequences: "The taxi's performance has improved. I went full throttle chasing down villains."

Evolved Characters and Darker Themes
Pyo Ye-jin returns as hacker Ahn Go-eun, now sporting a short haircut to reflect her character's professional growth.
Kim Eui-sung once again plays Jang Sung-cheol, the warm-hearted head of Rainbow Transport — though viewers' ongoing suspicions about him remain a running topic.
Director Kang shared that the season dives deeper into the shadows of society, focusing on fundamental issues beyond surface-level incidents. A symbolic new prop — a whack-a-mole game in the office — represents problems that keep resurfacing unless addressed at their core.
Emotional Depth and Anticipation Ahead
Lee Je-hoon hinted at unfolding backstory for Do-gi, saying the character has long carried unspoken pain: "Even the exhaustion and emotional wounds he hid will begin to heal."
The cast expressed gratitude for the series reaching a third season, with Pyo Ye-jin encouraging viewers to tune in for a satisfying and cathartic experience.
Director Kang teased that the concept of "Season 3" might fade as the story progresses, urging audiences to focus on the narrative's core rather than the number.
Lee Je-hoon closed by expressing hope for strong year-end awards recognition: "Every actor poured their heart into this. Please look forward to it."
Taxi Driver 3 premieres on November 21 at 9:50 p.m. on SBS.
