Best Director contenders feature Min Kyu-dong (The Dissolution), Park Chan-wook (No Other Choice), Yeon Sang-ho (Face), Woo Min-ho (Harbin), and Pil Gam-seong (Zombie Daughter).
The Best New Director category includes Kim Min-ha, Kim Su-jin, Kim Hye-young, Park Joon-ho, and Jang Byung-gi.
