Park Bo-gum is set to unveil a new side of himself in tvN's upcoming variety program BOGUM MAGICAL, where he joins close friends Lee Sang-yi and Kwak Dong-yeon to run a hair salon in a secluded countryside village.
The show, premiering in the first half of next year, follows the trio as they transform an old space into a warm community hub. Bo-gum, who earned a national barber license during his military service, finally gets to live out the hair-designer life he once imagined while cutting his fellow soldiers' hair. Despite his proven skills, he has continued practicing passionately for the program.
Lee Sang-yi charms villagers with his keen observation and boundless energy, turning the salon into a friendly gathering place.
Kwak Dong-yeon serves as the all-around problem solver, drawing on years of independent living to handle cooking, repairs, and anything else the shop needs.
The three actors spent about a year preparing — from selecting the location to planning remodeling and interior work — raising expectations for their chemistry.
BOGUM MAGICAL premieres in the first half of 2025.
