Hyun Bin and Son Ye-jin received the Popular Star Award at this year's Blue Dragon Film Awards, celebrating a memorable moment as a couple on one of Korea's biggest film stages.

The 46th Blue Dragon Film Awards took place on the 19th at KBS Hall in Yeouido, gathering the top filmmakers and actors who shaped Korean cinema this year.

The pair was announced as winners of the Cheongjeongwon Popular Star Award. It marked their first joint return to an award-show stage in five years since Crash Landing on You—and their first as a married couple three years into their marriage.

Hyun Bin expressed heartfelt gratitude, saying, "Thank you so much. I know fans worked very hard voting to put this award in my hands. I truly appreciate it."

Son Ye-jin added, "It's an honor to receive a popularity award together with my husband. Thank you for giving us a memory we'll never forget."

The couple shared genuine joy over their joint win. Hyun Bin said again, "The last time we received an award together was for Crash Landing on You. Today feels incredibly meaningful. Thank you," bowing his head.

Other recipients of the Popular Star Award included Park Jin-young and Lim Yoona. Park Jin-young remarked, "I want to become a popular star who wins two or three times, like Koo Kyo-hwan." Lim Yoona added, "I'm happy to win this award through the project I love so much. Thank you to everyone who voted."
